Who writes Aurum Desk

Everything on this site — every signal, every blog post, every number — comes from one working desk trading gold and forex. It publishes under a desk byline, The Aurum Desk, rather than an individual's name. This page explains that choice and shows what backs it.

Why there is no name on the byline

The honest answer is that a name would not tell you anything you can check. Anyone can put a photograph and a job title on a trading site. What you actually need is the record — and a record is either public and complete, or it is marketing.

So the desk made the opposite trade to most of the industry: no personality, no rented supercars, no claimed pedigree. Instead every closed position is published month by month, losses left in, downloadable as a CSV so you can run the arithmetic yourself rather than take ours. Judge the desk on that. If the record is not good enough, no biography would fix it.

What the desk actually does

It publishes trade plans, not opinions. Every signal carries an exact entry, a stop-loss and a take-profit ladder before the trade is live, with risk stated as a percentage of account rather than a lot size. Stop moves to breakeven, TP hits and closes are pushed as threaded updates under the original message, so the whole life of a trade stays readable in one place.

The specialisation is gold. XAUUSD moves far enough in a session that a precise level is worth having, which is why the desk built around it rather than spreading thin across thirty pairs. Majors, indices and a few others are covered where the same method applies.

How the writing here is produced

The blog is written by the same desk, not outsourced to content writers. That is why the posts keep saying uncomfortable things — that most free channels are lead generation, that a 90% win-rate claim is arithmetic nobody has done, that premium signals are not worth it on a small account. An agency optimising for conversions would not write those sentences.

Nothing published here is financial advice, and the desk does not claim otherwise. Trading gold and forex carries substantial risk of loss — the full risk disclosure is here.

How to check any of this

Do not take the page above on trust; it is a claim like any other. The results archive is the part that can be verified: pick any month back to 2020, read every trade the desk closed with its entry, stop and close price, and count the losses yourself. Then apply the same ten-minute test to anyone else you are considering.
